Description

This amendment is in response to questions concerning this solicitation. The response date has been changed to 27 Sep 00, 3:00 PM Central Standard Time. The question asked is: On the 1st page of the Statement of work there is reference to supporting a MGE Powerbloc UPS. However, under Description of Required Sevices and on the Presolicitation notice only 10 Liebert Modules,2 static transfer switches and the batteries are mentioned. Is there a MGE Powerbloc? If so what is the model number? The Response is: This description of required services is correct. We are seeking maintenance on the 10 Liebert Modules, 2 static transfer switches and all batteries. The referenced statement of work defines the maintenance for 2 sets of batteries. The bank of 360 flooded batteries support the Liebert UPS. The bank of 180 sealed batteries support the MGE Powerblock UPS. See Para 1 of the statement of work for batteries. We are not seeking maintenance of the MGE Powerblock UPS with this request for purchase -- only the batteries. The batteries have no model numbers, the model number of the Powerblock UPS is not relevant.
