Description

The U.S. Army Tank-automotive and Armaments Command (TACOM-Warren) will competitively solicit for research to develop and demonstrate technologies, components and subsystems to enable lightweight (less than 500 pounds) robotic and semiautonomous ground vehicles to achieve mobility characteristics exceeding the current state-of-the-art. TACOM is issuing a broad agency announcement to obtain white papers and proposals. Because this announcement is a solicitation, there will be no formal Request for Proposal or further solicitation regarding this announcement. In addition to this announcement, you must obtain detailed information and instructions for white papers and proposal preparation for announcement number DAAE07-01-Q-BAA1 on the TACOM-Warren Acquisition Center website at http://contracting.tacom.army.mil/baa/baapage.htm. Potential offerors should monitor the TACOM website for any changes to this announcement. This BAA closes on January 26, 2001. White papers/abstracts are due November 27, 2000. We anticipate award(s) by March 5, 2001.
