Description

The Bureau of Indian Affairs, San Carlos Irrigation Project, is soliciting quotations for the purchase of services to repair a 2,500 KVA Westinghouse transformer. San Carlos Irrigation Project is located at 13805 North Arizona Boulevard, Coolidge, Arizona 85228. Coolidge is located in Pinal County in Central Arizona. The repair service shall include all necessary supervision, personnel, equipment, supplies and transportation to affect the following repairs on the 2,500 KVA Westinghouse transformer located at Mammoth, Arizona. The repairs include: 1. Without removing either the main tank or load tap changer (LTC) oil, transport the transformer to a clean shop environment from Mammoth #2 Substation, Mammoth, Arizona. 2. Remove the LTC, reactor coils and associated connections from the transformer. Disassemble the LTC unit and operating mechanism and repair or rebuild by either re-manufacturing or repairing defective components. 3. Remove radiator fins and accessories, clean and sand and re-paint and re-assemble. 4. Remove and clean the main core and coil to remove oil and moisture and re-assemble. 5. Refine present transformer and LTC oil. 6. Re-assemble transformer and LTC, vacuum fill with refined transformer oil and apply industry standard tests at the shop to determine acceptability prior to transportation to Mammoth #2 Substation, Mammoth, Arizona. 7. Transport the transformer to Mammoth #2 Substation, Mammoth, Arizona and re-apply industry standard test to determine acceptability. 8. Provide results of all tests to the San Carlos Irrigation Project engineering department. 9. Make personnel available to advise during transformer return to service. In addition to repair service, replace three (3) defective high voltage bushings. WHEN SUBMITTING QUOTATION PROVIDE ESTIMATED DELIVERY DATE.
