Description

Under authority of 38 U.S.C. 8153, and FAR Part 12 Acquisition of Commercial Items, the Louis Stokes Cleveland Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, intends to contract for a contractor to provide transportation services for basic life support and advanced life support ambulance services to include the transportation of non-ambulatory veterans on guerneys, litters and geri chairs who are not in need of emergency transportation at the Cleveland VA Medical Center Brecksville and Wade Park Units. Contract period shall be 12 months from date of award with four one-year options for renewal. All ambulances shall adhere to standards set forth in Ohio Ambulance Licensing Pamphlet, "Laws and Rules" governing the certification and Licensure of Private Ambulances in the State of Ohio and qualified staff in compliance with Ohio law. Services shall be 24 hours per day, 365 days per year, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the awarded contract. This is a 100% Set-Aside for Small Business Concerns. NAICS is 621910 and the Small Business Size Standard is $5.0 Million per annum.
