Description

Solicitation N00421-01-Q-0025 is issued as a request for quote (RFQ). This action is not set aside for small business. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with Motorola Inc. for the part numbers listed below, under the authority of FAR Part 6.302-1. The contract line item number and description is **CLIN 0001 Quantity 5 ea P/N 01-P36744M001 URC-200 UHF/VHF Transceiver, Handset, Battery Box and Antenna, CLIN 0002 Quantity 5 ea P/N 01-P35863M001 UAC-300 AC Power Supply for UAC and AMP, CLIN 0003 Quantity 5 ea P/N 01-35865M001 URM-100 Rack Mount for URC and AMP. Award is expected 13 November 2000. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 10 November 2000 will be considered by the Government. A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
