Description

The Defense Distribution Center, New Cumberland, PA intends to award a sole source purchase order to Xpedx, Pearl Harbor, HI for Lease of two (2) Fill-Air packaging sysyems to include set-up and maintenance and a year supply of instapak quick foam packaging, 18" X 24", 15" X 18", 18" X 18", 18" X 24", 29" X 30", and Film for Fill-Air packaging system for Defense Distribution Depot Pearl Harbor, 840 Vincennes Ave, Bldg 451K, Pearl Harbor, HI 96860-4544. Under Simplified Acquisition Procedures and other than full and open competition since Xpedx is the sole authorized servicing agent of Instapak Quick Foam Packaging on the island. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 14 days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. Proposals must include the qualifications/capabilities of the company to perform the services, brochures, and price lists. Responses received without the requested information may be considered nonresponsive to this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon written responses to this notice is soley within the discretion of the Government.
