Description

Fleet and Industrial Supply Center, Puget Sound is soliciting for Laminated Vinyl Cloth, fire and weather resistant. The solicitation is to result in an annual requirements type contract with 1 one-year base period of performance and 2 one-year option periods. The quantities listed below are estimates only. Cloth shall be in accordance with FED STD 595 and bid samples will be required. Cloth with minimum/maximum ounces per square yard of 17.1 to 19.8 ounces shall be 50 inches wide by 50 to 65 yards long: Gray, shade #26231 @ 2,990 yards, Green, shade #24108 @ 18,000 yards, Blue, Shade #25102 @ 4,485 yards, and White, shade #27875 @ 21,000 yards. Cloth with minimum/maximum ounces per square yard of 5.4 to 6.6 ounces shall be 54 inches wide by 100 to 125 yards long: Green, shade #24108 @ 2,400 yards. Inspection and Acceptance at destination. FOB: destination -- Puget Sound Naval Shipyard, Bremerton, WA 98314. Notes 9 and 12 apply. This is an unrestricted procurement allowing for full and open competition. This is a web-based solicitation. The Government will not mail, fax or e-mail the solicitation or any amendments thereto. Subsequent amendments to the solicitation, if any, will be promulgated ONLY via the FISC-PS web site. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be available for download on or after 15 Nov 00. The FISC-PS web site address is: http://www.puget.fisc.navy.mil/contract.htm. Because this is a web-based solicitation a Solicitation Mailing List is not maintained by the Government. Prospective offerors are responsible for checking the referenced web page early and periodically for any solicitation amendments.
