Description

The work consists of furnishing all necessary labor, tools, materials, and equipment for maintenance dredging of the boat basin to elevation, 10.65 NGVD. The government estimate of dredge material to be removed is 4,600 cubic yards. Dredge spoils shall be transported by hydraulic pipeline to an existing dredge spoil disposal area on site. The work is located at U. S. Coast Guard Station South Padre Island, Texas. Request for a bid package must be submitted in writing. Requests may be faxed to 305-278-6696. The estimated price range is between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. Bid quarantee, payment and performance bonds are required. This solicitation is being issued pursuant to the Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program and is open to both small and large businesses participation. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by this agency. No telephone requests for this solicitation will be accepted; all requests shall be in writing. Those who previously requested under the Presolicitation Notice dated, 11 July 2000, do not need to request again. The applicable Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1629 with size standard of $13.5M. The contract performance time is 45 calendar days.
