Reference previous Requests for Information (RFI), Record number 2321PR580001, Title: Satellite Comunications Terminals request for Information, CBD Issue Dates 04/09/99; Satellite Comunications Ground Multi-band Terminal, published 04 May 00; as amended 12 May 00, and Notice of Contracting Action; Satellite Comunications Ground Multi-band Terminal, published 31 Oct 00. The MILSATCOM Terminals Program Office extends the intended proposal release date from the previously published date of 17 Nov 00 to 13 Dec 00. Potential Offerors must have Facility Security Clearance and Storage Classification Clearance of SECRET or higher. Additionally, ESC/MC will conduct an information exchange meeting with potential Offerors to discuss updates to the Ground Multi-band Terminal Program and to address concerns and answer questions regarding the program. Specifically, potential offerors are invited to ESC/MCP on November 30th, 2000 to attend a GMT Overview and Update Briefing. This opportunity is open to all potential Offerors. We plan to brief all Offerors in one room simultaneously. In addition, we afford you the opportunity to schedule a 30-minute, one-on-one side meeting with the Government Program Office. Any questions provided after 22 November 2000 may not be included in the briefing. Further, Messrs Donaldson and Zimmerman are the sole program office points of contact for potential Offerors. Tentative agenda is as follows:08:00-11:00 AM Government Presentation-Overview and Program Status Update; 11:00-11:15 AM Break;11:15-12:30 PM Question and Answer Session; 12:30-01:00 PM Summary and Open Discussion; 01:00-04:00 PM 30 Minute Sessions, as Required. The session will be held at the MITRE complex, Building #M, Room #0M-503, 202 Burlington Road, Bedford, MA 01730-1420. Additionally, the Government may videotape part or all of the session for internal use. An Acquisition Ombudsman, Colonel Joseph B. Magnone, Director, Commander's Staff, has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during proposal development. You should only contact the Ombudsman with issues or problems you cannot satisfactorily resolve with the program manager and/or contracting officer. The Ombudsman role is to hear concerns, issues, and recommendations and communicate these to the appropriate government personnel. The Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality if desired.
