Description

DESC: The US Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM) proposes to acquire 60HZ and 400HZ, 3kW Tactical Quiet Generator Sets (TQG). This acquisition will result in a two (2) year basic and 8 year options Requirements type contract with Delivery Orders issued on a Firm Fixed Price basis. The method of acquisition will be competitive negotiated and the basis of award will be Best Value. This acquisition will be unrestricted, full and open competition utilizing both a Statement of Work and performance based Purchase Description. The U.S. ARMY Communications Electronics Command (CECOM) has established an Interactive Business Opportunities Page (IBOP) website as part of the Army's Single Face to Industry to allow electronic postings of Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Sealed Bids from CECOM to industry. All parties interested in doing business with CECOM are invited to access, operate, send and receive information from the IBOP at (http://abop.monmouth.army.mil). You may access potential CECOM Business Opportunities by simply selecting "CECOM Comm. & Elec. Com." Under the heading "View by Contracting Activity" and then click "GO". Registration for a user ID and password will only be necessary when you are considering the submission of proposals to CECOM through the IBOP. To be a registered user of the IBOP, please click on "Industry Registration" under the heading "Secure Services". For CD-ROM drawings or other data, contact the identified Contracting Officer via their e-mail. Offers and Bids shall be submitted electronically at the time and date specified in the solicitation. No bids shall be submitted directly to the Contracting Officer. The solicitation will be posted O/A late November early December 2000. Receipt of proposal will be due O/A forty five (45) days from solicitation posting.
