Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division, Lakehurst (NAWCADLKE), New Jersey intends to enter into negotiations with the Paravant Computer Systems Inc. in Melbourne, FL for the procurement of five (5) Advanced Tactical Aerial Reconnaissance Systems (ATARS) Test Set computers (P/N 74D745003-1001). These computers will be used to assist in developing the interface cables between the Shared Reconnaissance Pod (SHARP) and the Test Set; the software for the Test Set; and the operation and maintenance procedures for the Test Set. The Government intends to procure these services under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal, which may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to open this requirement to competition. Responses should reference N68335-00-R-0499. Information must be received no later than 07 December 2000. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based on the responses received to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government
