Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation number is FA4416 01 T0042. Offerors must comply with all instructions in FAR 52.212-1 with submittal of their offer and provide all information. The NAICS code is 488490. The proposed contract action here is a small business set aside. Performance of contract will be at Andrews AFB, MD. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition. FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications _ Commercial items; FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions _ Commercial items; FAR 52.228-5, FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to implement Statutes or Executive Orders _ Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2, Evaluation _ Commercial Items, blanks are filled as follows: Past Performance and Price. Contract award will be based on Price and Past Performance being equal. (POC: Robert Rubien 301-981-1949). DESCRIPTION: Purchase of two Plows equal to Frink Trailblazer, model: QR FTP-96. They must have 2.5 inch reversing cylinder, Polymer material moldboard, break away cutting edge, Moldboard markers, One person hook-up, mounting bracket and all electrical and hydraulic connections for specified dump truck, and plow lights. Purchase and installation of two Salt Spreaders equal to Henderson FSH II series. They must have tilt up spinner so unit can be placed on the ground, 18 horsepower electric start pony engine, 12 volt actuater, top grate strainer to prevent debris from entering hopper, 1.5 inch drive shaft with stainless steel spinner with hopper capacity 6.2-7.3 cubic yards. The installation of the spreaders will be required on two 1998 5 ton Ford dump trucks with interior bed dimensions 7 feet 4 inches wide by 9 feet long. Dump trucks will be delivered to the contractor for installation. The contractor is responsible for operations check to ensure successful operation.
