Description

A project to grow approximately 142.5M seedlings, using Government furnished seed. Seedlings will be grown in 8 CC styroblock or equal containers. Mycorrhizal inoculation shall be administered to all seedlings. All containers, except those growing western red cedar, will have 6 grams of balanced slow release fertilizer included in the potting soil of the container. Nurseries shall be located in the geographic range within the states of Oregon, Washington, and Northern California with growing conditions similar to the Willamette National Forest. Seedlings shall meet acceptable conditions by October 10, 2001. Seedlings will be shipped to Oakridge, Oregon, Medford, Oregon and Hubbard, Oregon in quantities and times as described in the solicitation. Project is located on the Willamette National Forest, Lane County, Oregon. Estimated issue date will be December 13, 2000. Estimated start work date is January 15, 2001. Contract performance time is 365 calendar days. See Note 1. The proposed procurement is totally set-aside for Small Business Concerns.
