Description

Summer day camp services are required to be performed at U.S. Naval Activities located in Naples and Gaeta, Italy; LaMaddalena, Sardignia, Sigonella, Sicily; London and Cornwall United Kingdom; Rota, Spain; Bahrain, Southwest Asia. The base period of performance is from 18 June 2001 to 24 August 2001. There are 2 option periods from 17 June 2002 -- 23 August 2002 and from 16 June 2002 to 22 August 2003. Services include planning, organizing, scheduling and conducting a well rounded summer day camp program. The curriculum will include appropriate recreational activities that foster mental, social and physical well being of each child. For all camp sites in Italy, contractor personnel may ot be citizens or nationals of Italy(regardless of U.S. citizenship) nor be ordinarily resident in Italy or be stateless. For Rota, Spain all contractor personnel must be U.S. citiaens. For Bahrain, all contractor personnel must be 21 years of age or older. More specific information will be provided in the solicitation. This acquisition is for commercial items and will be solicited using the test procedures established in FAR 13.5.
