Description

US Penitentiary, Lewisburg, PA, requires Dental Assistant Services. The action is a 100% set-aside for a very small business. Contract period will include a base period, not to exceed 6 months, and four 6 month option periods for renewal. Requirements will average 26 hours per week and shall not exceed 30 hours per week. Award will be made to the lowest offeror who meets the following qualifications: Graduated from an accredited Dental Assistant program, or have adequate on the job training and experience to perform the tasks routinely required of a Dental Assistant; hold a valid dental x-ray permit issued by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania; and, be in good standing in the healthcare community, as evidenced by Information on Past Performance or if no prior work experience Two letters of recommendation from healthcare providers knowledgeable of the Contractor's work practices. The RFQ will be available on December 28, 2000, and the date for receipt of quotes is scheduled for 1:00pm on January 17, 2001.
