- Please amend synopsis as follows: 1. Delete Item 0002, Data, 1 LOT 2. Delete "Qualification Requirements: Sources must be qualified prior to being considered for award. The solicitation will contain instructions for obtaining further information on this requirement. The requirements of FAR 9.202(A) have been comleted and copies of the qualification requirements and standards may be obtained as described in the solicitation. These qualification requirements apply to line item(s) all. 3. Delete "First article test required". 4. Delete "Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. The solicitation identifies the office where additional information can be obtained concerning qualification requirements is cited in each individual solicitation. 5. Add: This acquisition will use reverse auction procedures as well as Price/Performance Tradeoff procedures. Only those offers who have previously been determined technically acceptable may participate in the reverse auction. These sources are: SP Aerospace, CAGE: H1632, BF Goodrich, CAGE: 13002, Coltec Industries, CAGE: 17576, and Hydro-Mill Co., CAGE: 6D161. Offers from any other sources WILL NOT be considered in this prototype reverse auction procedure. 6. Add: Instructions and Agreements for the above contractors to participate in this prototype reverse auctioin will be contained in the solicitation when posted on the FEDBIZOPS website. 7. Add: After the complete quantity is shipped to the destination (OO-ALC), the Government will perform a production item sampling (testing) on 8 each of the total quantity. If this test demonstrates any problems, the entire quantity will be returned to the contractor for correction/rework at NO COST to the Government.
