Description

LIFT GATE MACHINERY AND COUNTERWEIGHT REPLACEMENT, LOCKS 27, LOWER MISSISSIPPI RIVER BASIN, MADISON COUNTY, ILLINOIS. Work consists of replacing the lift gate machinery and counterweight systems in the Main Lock and Auxiliary Lock including demolition of existing systems, concrete drilling and formwork, painting, miscellaneous metals and electrical work. Specifications will be available on or about 16 January 2001. Bid opening will be on or about 15 February 2001. Contract duration is 480 calendar days The cost range is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Plans and specifications will be available on the St. Louis District WEB page listed below and on CD ROM at no charge.
