Description

The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center, San Diego intends to negotiate a firm fixed priced sole source contract with Condor Systems Inc. at 2133 Samaritan Drive, San Jose CA 95124 to provide one (1) SP-160 Signal Processor, Model Number SP-160-04 , Part Number 161650-01. Condor Systems Inc. is the sole developer and producer of the SP-160 Signal Processor which is being installed in the Navy P-3C Anti Surface Warfare Improvement Program (AIP) Aircraft. The SP-160 Signal Processor optionally can host the Special Modulation Detection Assembly (SMDA) card set, which is also produced by Condor Systems, and is being procured by the Navy for the P-3C AIP aircraft. The acquisition of this SP-160 will support Configuration Management of hardware, software, and interfaces for the SP-160 and the internal SMDA. The solicitation document will be issued approximately on 9 January 2001. No hard copy versions of the solicitation will be available.
