Description

Purchase of Rooftop Air Conditioning (RTAC) Units for Training Center Yorktown. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for Commercial Items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This notice constitutes the only solicitation; price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. All interested offerors shall call or fax their request for Summary of Work and Drawings pertaining to this solicitation (which expires 19 Jan 2001). This solicitation (DTCG81-01Q-QWB007) is issued as a Request For Quotation (RFQ). The RFQ after offeror has requested for above mention information is expected NLT 2/5/01. The solicitation document and incorporated Provisions and Clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. FAR clauses and provisions are available via internet address: http://www.arnet.gov/far/. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small business concern. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 333415/750. Item description is as follows: Quantity 3 Rooftop Air Conditioning (RTAC) Units in accordance with request for Summary of Work and Drawings. This is a Firm-Fixed Price Contract, Acceptance: Destination, F.O.B: Destination, Delivery as indicated in Summary of Work, Delivery to: CG RTC Yorktown, End of State Rte 238, Yorktown, VA 23690. Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Provisions that applies to this RFQ: 52.212-1, Instruction to Offerors- Commercial Items (Oct 2000), 52.212-2, Evaluation-Commercial Items (Jan 1999), Government will award a contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsive, responsible offeror. Price, Technical Capability, Past Performance factors (please provide Points of Contact, telephone numbers, and types of supplies of which contracts have been satisfactorily completed of at least 2 current references) will be used to evaluate quotes. All RFQ's shall be accompanied by any and all information as requested in Summary of Work and Descriptive Literature that meets the specifications of equipment being quoted. NO CONSIDERATION WILL BE GIVEN TO QUOTES LACKING THIS AND ANY OTHER INFORMATION SET FORTH IN THIS SOLICITATION. 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items (Oct 2000) shall be completed and returned with RFQs and 52.214-21, Descriptive Literature (Apr 1984). Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clauses that applies to this RFQ: 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items (May 1999), 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions-Required to Implement Statues or Executive Orders-Commercial Items (Aug 2000) applies as follows: paragraph (b)(5), (7), (11), (12), (13), (14), (15), (17), and (24). In compliance with the said clause, the following additional FAR Clause 52.252-2, Clauses Incorporated by Referance (Feb 1998) as part of and apply to this RFQ: 52.232-8, Discount for Prompt Payment (May 1997), 52.236-5, Material and Workmanship (Apr 1984), 52.236-21, Specifications and Drawings for Construction (Feb 1997), and 52.246-1, Contractor Inspection Requirements (Apr 1984).
