Description

Notice that the General Service Administration, FTS Region 10, 4040 Wheaton Way Suite 111, Bremerton, WA. 98310 intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order with Benthos, Inc. 49 Edgerton Drive, North Falmouth, MA. 02556 under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A justification for Other than Full and Open Competition has been prepared in support of this acquisition. For CLIN 0001, Benthos AT-421 Low Frequency Directional Transducer. This request is considered to be sole source to Benthos Inc. therefore, no solicitation will result from this announcement. However, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct competitive procurement. All price quotations shall be submitted to Frank Gilger, not later than 4:00 P.M., PST, January 4, 2001. Price quotations may be sent via either facsimile to (360) 782-2010 or by email to frank.gilger@GSA.GOV. No telephone requests for this RFQ will be honored. Numbered Note 1 & 22 applies.
