Description

The contractor shall provide engineering, technical and logistics support services to the Naval Air Warfare Center's aircraft support mission. These support services shall encompass efforts in the following areas: Program Management Support; Support Equipment (SE) Acquisition Support; Test Program Set (TPS)/Operational Test Program Set (OTPS) Design and Development; Miscellaneous Engineering Efforts. The support services will not be limited to Navy Platforms or to Naval Aviation requirements. The estimated level of effort is 873,600 man-hours, with a 25% surge option of 218,400 man-hours. The Government contemplates award of a cost-plus-fixed-fee completion type contract. The anticipated Period of Performance is 84 months with a 25% surge option. Acquisition to be processed through full and open competition (non-set-aside).
