Description

The VA National Acquisition Center will issue Solicitation RFP-797-PH-0006, for the Dept. of Veterans Affairs' requirements for Influenza Virus Vaccine for the 2001-2002 influenza season. VA's estimated quantities for flu vaccine are 129,500 vials of the multiple (10-dose) vials and 45,500 boxes (10 syringes/box) of pre-filled single dose syringes. Requirements for Federal Bureau of Prisons, Health and Human Services Supply Service Center in Perry Point, MD; Indian Health Service's Regional Supply Center in Ada, OK; and Phoenix Area Indian Health Services will also be included in this solicitation. Contractor will be required to deliver the vaccine FOB Destination to Government facilities within the U.S. and Puerto Rico. Numbered Note 12 applies. On or after the issue date of 1/22/01, a copy of the solicitation may be downloaded from the VA Business Opportunities Web Site at http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/.
