The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) is preparing MIL-PRF-XX388, Filtration Module, Oily Waste Membrane Type and MIL-PRF-XX389, Ultrafiltration System, 10-Gallon per Minute Oily Waste Membrane (OWMS-10) for Naval Ships. NAVSEA intends to draft specifications and standards to accommodate a variety of design solutions and processes and to encourage a broad vendor base.
