Description

The Department of the Interior, National Business Center (NBC), proposes to contract for services to stress test a time and attendance software application called Quicktime. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation No. NBCD1QX0002 is a Request For Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20. The associated NAICS code is 541519. The contractor shall provide all plant, material and labor necessary to meet the requirements of the Statement Of Work (SOW). The SOW may be obtained by contacting the Contracting Officer as indicated below. A functional demonstration of the Quicktime software will be given at the NBC in Denver at 8:00 am MST on 01/18/01. Offeror attendance at this demonstration is optional, RSVP to the Contracting Officer is requested. The performance period for all activities necessary to accomplish this SOW is 30 calender days after award. The offeror shall provide a price for each deliverable item in the SOW. The Government will award a contract resulting from this combined synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror whose quotation, conforming to this synopsis/solicitation, will offer the best value to the Government, price and other factors considered. The quotations will be evaluated against the evaluation criteria listed in the SOW including how well the quotation meets the technical requirements and performance schedule and the competitiveness/reasonableness of it's price. FAR 52.212-1; 52.212-4; and 52.212-5 with subparts (1), (5), (11), (12), (13), (14), (15), (22), (24), (26); 52.217-5; 52.217-8 (notice prior to expiration of the performance period) 52.222-41; 52.222-42; 52.222-44 & 52.222-49 applies. Offerors shall include a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 with it's quotation which may be downloaded at www.arnet.gov. Offers shall be submitted as an original and 4 copies and are due 01/31/01 by 12:00 noon MST at NBC, D-2940, room 200, Attn: Steve Rawlings, 7301 W. Mansfield Ave., Denver, CO 80235-2230.
