Description

TRADOC Acquisition Center (TAC) will be issuing a DRAFT Solicitation on or about 12 January 01 for an A-76 Commercial Activity Study for Directorate of Information Management (DOIM)functions at Ft. Benning, GA. This office welcomes industry comments/questions pertaining to any portion of the solicitation; with particular emphasis on the Performance Work Statement. Sections L and M will not be available for the draft. Please respond by 12 Feb 01. Pertinent responses to the draft solicitation will be used to IMPROVE similar TRADOC A-76 DOIM projects. Actual solicitation will be issued at a later time. The Ft. Benning requirements solicit the contractor to perform services relating to Technical Consulting, Problem Resolution, Network Operating System (NOS) and Server Operations, Electronic Messaging, Desktop Computing, On-Site Customer Support to Dismounted Battle Space Battle Lab, Database management, Application Sustainment, Server Hardware and Software Support, Remote Processing Support, Computer Operations, Voice Data and Video Communications, Telecommunication Center, The Communicator System Administrator (Rapid Notification System) and Administrative Functions. The performance period is for one year with a 4 one-year options. The applicable SIC Code is 8744 with a size standard of $5M. No determination has been made at this time whether this solicitation will be unrestricted or set-aside. This procurement is a cost-plus-award-fee. A formal source selection procedure will be used during the evaluation process. Oral presentations will be part of the evaluation process.
