Description

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Austin Automation Center (AAC), Austin, TX is seeking authorized sources for a proprietary software product called Real Time Defrag (RTD), which is made by INTERCHIP AG of Germany. Responses must be in writing and must be received within 7 calendar days of this notice. In addition, responses must include pricing and documentation as requested herein in sufficient detail to allow evaluation of price reasonableness. This includes the vendor's commercial price list and standard license agreement. Also, if the software product is available on GSA, the response must include a copy of the GSA contract and price list. If the software product is not available on GSA, the response must clearly state so. Third party firms will be considered only if responding with clear and convincing evidence that they have been authorized by INTERCHIP AG to license and distribute in the U.S. the proprietary software identified herein. Responses without all requested information will not be considered. No solicitation document is available. If one is issued, no additional synopsis will be published. If source(s) have been identified, the procurement will be conducted as a commercial item acquisition in accordance with FAR Part 12 (unless it is available on GSA). The determination to open competition based on responses received is solely within the discretion of the Government. No telephone inquiries will be accepted. Responses may be faxed to 512-326-6028 to the attention of the Contracting Officer, with the hard copy to follow in overnight mail.
