Description

This is a synopsis for a non-commercial item prepared in accordance with FAR subpart 13, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Solicitation Number N00164-01-Q-0069 applies and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). The proposed contract is 100% set-aside for small business concerns. Incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-20 and DCN 20001025. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 31311 and the business size is 500 employees. Clin 001 is for a quantity of 2000 each Parachutes (drawing 2127834-2) size 20". Clin 002 is for a quantity of 2000 each Parachutes (drawing 2127834-1) size 16". The ammunition parachutes are to be made of cloth, synthetic-fiber (Type D-Nylon (0.88 oz per sq yd). Delivery is required F.O.B. Crane, In 47522 within 180 days after award of order. Final inspection will be NSWC Crane. Drawings, Military Specifications, Federal specificaitons, and Department of Defense Test Method Standards will be furnished upon request. E-mail request to loughmiller_j@crane.navy.mil.
