Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; price quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation No. 01SQ170492 is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-22. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 331525. The small business size standard is 500 employees. Requirement: CLIN 001 -- ROLLERS, bronze, 13.625 inches wide -- 380 each. Material is consistent with ASTM B148-C95500HT/UNS C95500HT heat treated nickel aluminum bronze, tensile strength 110 KSI, yield strength 60 KSI, Brinell Hardness 200. Material to be heat treated before rollers are manufactured. Certifications are required indicating material meets these standards. Grand Coulee Dam Drawing No. 222-D-19465 (Rev 12-29-2000), Part No. 1T is applicable to this acquisition and is available upon request. FAR provision 52.212.1, Instructions to Offerors Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Evaluation and award will be made using the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in FAR Part 13. A completed copy of the FAR provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications Commercial Items shall be included with your quote. FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items and FAR Clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items applies to this acquisition. The following additional FAR clauses cited in Clause 52.212-5 are applicable to this acquisition and are incorporated in this contract by reference: 52.222-21, 52.222-26, 52.222-35, 52.222-36, 52.222-37, 52.225-3, and 52.232-34.
