Description

The George Washington Memorial Parkway has a requirement for mowing and line trimming at five (5) locations on the Mount Vernon Memorial Parkway (between Alexadria, VA and Mount Vernon). The total acreage for mowing is estimated at 132 acres with 8,250 linear feet of line trimming. Vendor must be capable of completing the mowing and trimming cycle for each area within four (4) days. All areas are developed and contain high densities of pedestrians, vehicles, utilities, and structures. The exact quantity of work will depend upon the changes in the weather. Contract award will be made for one (1) Base Year and four (4) Option Years. Request for Quotations will be available on or about January 18, 2001.
