Description

Medical Air Compressor: 1. Vendor will furnish unit, labor, certification and installation of Medical Air Compressor in Building 129. Medical Breathing Air Compressor, NFPA 99-1999, oil-free, 480 volts, 3 phase, 5HP duplex unit and must contain the following items: (a) Air Treatment System, Pre-piped and pre-wired to include dual desiccant air dryers with purge control, dual line filter, dual line regulator, life safety relief valve, dew point monitor & CO2 monitor. (b) Inline intake filter. (c) Vibration isolation pad. (d) Starter mounted and wired cabinet (complete with hour meter, run lights, On-Off switch, control voltage transformer, full voltage starter and alternating capabilities. (e) Automatic drain. (f) Four-hour start-up training by factory representative. 2. Maximum working pressure 125PSIG (must state warranty in writing). 3. Certification: Must be certified after completion by a piping industry progress education (pipe) certified verifier. 4. Installation: Placement of unit piping (maximum length 20') of compressor and dryers with 3-way by pass valve around dryers system. 5. Electrical connection and removal of old unit will be the responsibility of CAVHCS. 6. All work and material must meet or exceed required national codes and regulations.
