Description
This is a combined synopsis /solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Offerors may request via fax a copy of equipment serial numbers as appropriate for pricing purposes. Walk throughs may be requested at offerors expense. This Request for Quote (RFQ) 553-36-01 is to furnish all labor and materials to provide service maintenance for radio/paging equipment for the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, Detroit, MI. Period of performance will be from date of award, through September 30, 2001, with three pre-priced option years from October 1, 2001, through September 30, 2004. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97-15. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 54160, 5.0M, Management, Scientific, and Technical Consulting Services. This solicitation is subject to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program as outlined in FAR 19. FAR 219.22, Small Disadvantaged Business Status (OCT 1999) also applies to this procurement. Services will be performed at the John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, 4646 John R. Street, Detroit MI. Evaluation criteria included in paragraph a are, in descending order of importance are, (1) Price, and (2) Past Performance.
