Description

Funds are not currently available for this requirement. Offerors are advised that the cost of any response to, or other cost incurred as a result of, this solicitation is at the offeror's own risk. Unless funds are made available for this requirement, no contract will be awarded. The project involves all labor, material, equipment, tools, travel, and performance of all operations required to meet the requirements of a replace/repair mechanical pumps contract at Cape Cod AFS MA, in accordance with the contract pictures and specifications. The principal items of work include but are not necessarily limited to: replacing 6 mechanical pumps and motors; installing new vibration eliminators for all units; cleaning mating flanges surfaces; replacing all bolts, nuts and studs; and, installing new liquid filled gages. Contractor will also install shut-off ball valves for gages, and nipples and ball valves on pumps for venting air. Contractor will paint all new components, where applicable, to match existing components; test and ensure proper operation of pumps and motors; and provide warranty, and operation and maintenance manuals. The Government intends to award a firm fixed price contract. The magnitude of construction will be between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. All contractors must be CCR registered. Failure to register will disqualify a contractor from award should the contractor be selected and not registered. Web site for Central Contractor Registration is www.ccr2000.com.
