Description

ISSUE DATE: 01/29/2001. The Contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, transportation, supervision and disposal necessary to renovate bathrooms and gym ceiling at Bldg. 4160, Air Station Cape Cod, Falmouth, MA. Contractor shall replace bathroom fixtures and accessories, flooring partitions and lighting. Existing gas fired unit heaters will be replaced with a gas fired hot air system. Lockers, benches, signage and other items will be installed. Existing electrical circuitry will be traced and verified. Duct chases will be created for new heating ductwork. Concrete aprons shall be installed. Optional bid item is included for gymnasium ceiling panels to be repaired and protected with high impact plastic panels. Painting will be required in several areas. The period of performance is 70 days after receipt of Notice to Proceed, with actual on-site performance not to exceed 42 calendar days. The estimated cost range for this project is between $100,000 and $250,000. NAICS Code is 233320, size standard is $27.5 million. Solicitation will be available on or about January 29, 2001. Bid opening is scheduled for 02/28/01 at 2 pm. This solicitation and amendments will be available via the internet at www.eps.gov.
