Description

This publication serves as a notice of intent to award a sole source contract to Chadwick-Helmuth for flight control test sets (Vibration signature kits)for testing on the Boeing CH-46 Helicopters. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 12.6, as supplemented with additional informatin included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation # M67865-01-Q-0002 is being issued as a request for quotation. If no affirmative written responses are received, a contract will be awarded to the above referenced contractor without further notice. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition circulate 97-18. The solicitation is for test set kits called Vibration signature kits, manufactured by Chadwick-Helmuth. Kit consists of: #7569-1 ACEL HI-TEMP 500F MODEL 7569, QTY 8 EACH; #10329-1 BLOCK TRIAX MOUNT .28 HOLE, QTY 4 EACH; #13105 BRACKET ENGINE VIB P/U CH-46, QTY 8 EACH; #6752-1 BRACKET TRANSDUCER .27 HLAL, QTY 8 EACH; #15118 BRACKET, VELOCIMETER MOUNT CH-46 XMISSION, QTY 4 EACH; #10700-2 CABLE HI-TEMP 9 FT, QTY 8 EACH; #11210-30 CABLE ASSY VELO 30 FT, QTY 32 EACH; #8225-6 CHARGE AMP PROGRAMMABLE 8225, QTY 8 EACH; #7310 VELOCIMETER, QTY 24 EACH; #11270-1 CARRYING CASE ASSY 85008520, QTY 4 EACH; #768-13547 USER GUIDE 8225-6 AND 6A, QTY 4 EACH; MANUALS INCLUDED WITH 8225-6 AT NO CHARGE; Delivery date should be 90 days ARO or sooner. Offerors shall include a completed copy of provision 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial items, with its offer. The following clauses are applicable to this acquisition, 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial item, 52-212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The following additional clauses cited are applicable to this acquisition and are cited by reference; 52.203-6, Restrictions Subcontractor Sales to the Government, with Alternate I; 52.219-8, Utilization of small Business Concerns; 52.219-14, limitations on Subcontracting; 52.222-26, Equal opportunity; 52.222-35, Affirmative Action for special Disabled and Vietnam Veterans; 52.222-37, Employment Reports on Special Disabled Veterans and Veterans of the Vietnam Era; 52.232-33 Payment by Electronic Funds Transfer-Central Contractor Registration. The following Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) clauses and provisions apply to this acquistition: Offerors shall include a completed copy of provisions 252.212-7000, Buy American Act and Balance of Payments program; 252.225-7012, Preference for Certain Domestic Commodities. Each offeror shall review the preceding clauses and provisions incorporated by reference, and return a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3 and DFARS 252.212-7000 with its offer. Copies of provisions and clauses will be provided upon request. Offeror shall provide its Commercial and Government Entity (CAGE) code, Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS), and Tax identification number.
