- Description
- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for the purchase of Corrosion Control and repainting of 14 vehicles from Scott AFB, IL, prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation, F11623-01-T-0002, is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). A statement that the solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 97.20. This acquisition is 100% Small Business set aside. The Standard Industrial Classification Code (SIC) is 7532 and the Small Business Size Standard is $5,000,000. The solicitation can be viewed at http://www.eps.gov. It is the contractor's responsibility to be familiar with all-applicable clauses and provisions. Line item 1 is for the Corrosion Control and repainting of 14 various government vehicles. Please sumit quotes for each vehicle on pricing sheet. A Vehicle descriptions can be found in the Statement of Work. All work will be done at the contractor facility. The Government will pickup and deliver all vehicles. The Government will award a Purchase Order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror that is most advantageous to the Government. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors -- Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The provision at 52.212-2, Evaluation -- Commercial Items, Price, Location and Delivery Schedule shall be the evaluation factors. The solicitation and required provisions and clauses can be downloaded at www.eps.gov. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. Offerors are required to complete the Representation and Certifications section in the Provisions/Clauses and submit with bid proposal or quotation, inaccordince with 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items. The clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions -- Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders, Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. Telephone quotes will not be considered. Contract award cannot be made to any contractor who is not enrolled in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) Program. See numbered Note 1.
