Description

Fleet and Industrial Supply Center San Diego has a requirement for publication and distribution of a Civilian Enterprise (CE) Unofficial Weekly Newspaper for Naval Air Station Lemoore, CA entitled, "The Golden Eagle". All proceeds from the sale of advertisements shall belong to the publisher, who shall look exclusively to such advertising for all publishing costs and profits, and shall constitute consideration. The contract shall be for a base 2-year period and provides for two (2) additional 2-year option periods for a total not to exceed six (6) years. It must be noted that CE contracts are not subject to Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) or the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), since they are based on an exception to the Government Printing and Binding Regulations published by the Congressional Joint Committee on Printing. All offerors will be required to submit a technical proposal in accordance with the instructions in the solicitation. Interested parties shall obtain a copy of the solicitation by visiting the FISC electronic web site at http:www.sd.fisc.navy.mil or the Navy Electronic Commerce Online at http:www.neco.navy.mil. The solicitation is expected to be published on or about 22 February 2001 and the forecast award date is 12 April 2001.
