Description

Furnish a wide assortment of operational supplies for the Defense Commissary Agency for commissaries located within the 48 contiguous United States. Contractor shall be responsible for deliveries to the individual commissary locations. The supplies shall include but are not limited to: meat trays, meat wrap film, bakery and produce bags, butcher and freezer paper, various types of bakery boxes, gloves, aprons and knives. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. Evaluation of offers will be on an "all or none" basis per geographic area. A fixed price, requirements type contract is comtemplated including delivery through the Frequent Delivery System. The solicitation is to be issued on an unrestricted basis. The period of performance is from July 1, 2001 through June 30, 2002 with one option year. Only written requests will be honored. Facsimile numbers are 804-734-8269 or 8271.
