Description

The USDA, Agricultural Marketing Service, Fruit and Vegetable Division, Fresh Products Division, intends to acquire uniforms for the period 2/01/01 through 12/31/01, with the option for 4 additional years. The contractor shall provide uniforms with embroidery if necessary, maintain records for employee allowances and distribute all uniforms. This shall be a fixed price contract, FOB origin. The contract is to be negotiated with Zeffi Corporation, an 8(a) firm. There will be no solicitation issued for competition. Solicitation # RFP 50-M-APHIS-01 is assigned for tracking purposes. This is a negotiated procurement under NAIC 422990, Other Miscellaneous Nondurable Goods Wholesalers. FAR Part 12, Commercial Item Acquisition is applicable to this procurement.
