Description

The USAID/CAR Regional Mission based in Almaty, Kazakhstan is seeking proposals to procure services in order to improve the trade and investment environment for small and medium-sized enterprises. The proposed SME Trade and Investment activity will be implemented under USAID/CAR's Strategic Objective 1.3, which calls for an improved environment for the growth of small- and medium-sized enterprises in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. In particular, it will support Intermediate Result 1.3.3, which calls for increased implementation of laws and regulations. This contract has three major components: 1) Removal of investment constraints, 2) WTO support, 3) Customs support. The preferred method of distribution of USAID procurement information is via the Internet or by request of a solicitation on a 3.5 floppy disk (MS Word format). This CBD notice can be reviewed and downloaded using the Agency Web Site. The RFP can be downloaded from the Agency web site. The Worldwide Web address is http://www.usaid.gov.
