Description

There will be a meeting on 01/24/2001 of the Mobile Sources Technical Panel under EPA's Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) Program for Air Pollution Control Technology. This panel is composed of representatives from the manufacturers, vendors, regulators, testing and user communities for mobile diesel engine air pollution control technologies. This is the second in-person meeting of the technical panel. Its purpose will be to review and discuss the draft generic verification protocol. The technical panel has been selected; however, this meeting is open to all who wish to attend. The meeting will be held in the first floor conference room of the Cox Statistic Building at the Research Triangle Institute (RTI) in Research Triangle Park (RTP), NC, from 9:00 AM until 3:00 PM. The goal of ETV is to verify the performance characteristics of commercially ready environmental technologies so that potential purchasers and permitters are provided with an independent and credible assessment of the technology they are buying or permitting. RTI and EPA are partners in the ETV pilot program.
