- Description
- Project Heat Exchanger Valve, Solicitation No. GS-07P-01-UBC-0013. Estimated Cost Range is $25,000.00 to $100,000.00. The solicitation documents will be available for downloading from the Internet on or about January 29, 2001. Bid Opening is scheduled for on or about February 13, 2001; pre-bid conference information will be provided in the solicitation documents. Work includes but is not limited to: Remove six existing Johnson Controls V909X series Pneumatic Actuators, six Johnson Controls VF series Butterfly Valves, and six Solenoids from the existing heat exchange piping system and associated equipment. Install six new Johnson Controls VF Series Butterfly Valves or equal, six new Johnson Controls V-909X series pneumatic actuators or equal, six new Johnson Controls V-9000-140 series solenoids or equal . Remove any air that may be trapped in the existing heat exchanger piping system; install all electrical parts, water and air connections, that may be required to ensure the proper operation of the controls, solenoids and valves; and return the heating and cooling systems to operating condition. The contractor shall be responsible for complying with all State, Federal, local and municipal codes during the course of this contract. The contractor will be required to perform on the site, and with its own organization, work equivalent to at least 75 percent of the total amount of work to be performed under the contract. Contractors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments, if any. These documents will be in pdf format and will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
