Description

Casting of Propulsion Shaft Liners and Sleeves which includes inspection, testing, marking,and packaging to be used on Coast Guard Polar Class Vessels in accordance with Specification No. P-243-0361 dated 06/00. The liners range from 28 to 36 inches in diameter and 25 to 147 inches in length. The sleeves are 36 inches in diameter and 17 inches in length. The liners are made from a copper/nickel alloy which is centrifugally casted into a sleeve. The sleeves are made from a Ni-Cr-Mo-Cb Alloy UNS N06625. Various quantities are required. Delivery shall be required within 210 calendar days after receipt of a delivery order. Delivery to be F.O.B. Destination to USCG Engineering Logistics Center, Receiving Room, Bldg. 86, 2401 Hawkins Point Road, Baltimore, MD 21226-5000. Period of Performance is twelve months after contract award. The proposed contract is for one (1) basic year and four (4) one year renewable options. See Numbered Note 26.
