Description

The Government intends to award a "Design/Build" Contract for the purpose of providing all labor, materials, supervision and equipment required to design and install an Artificial Synthetic Infill Turf System at Blaik Field at the Michie Stadium, located at the United States Military Academy, West Point, NY. The Government intends to award a single Firm Fixed Price plus incentive contract to the Design/Build entity's offer that provides the "Best Value" to the Government. For the purpose of this solicitation, no distinction is made between a formally organized design/build entity and project-specific design/build associations. Both are to be referred to as the design/build offeror (or simply offeror). All materials and workmanship shall adhere to the approved contractor's design and in accordance with the guidelines set forth in the Request for Proposal (DAAG60-01-R-0009) to be provided by the Government. The Contractor's designed and installed Artificial Turf Infill System shall include, but is not limited to, adequate drainage connecting into the existing Government drainage system. The installation of the Artificial Turf Infill System shall be installed in strict accordance with manufacturers written installation instructions. This acquisition is 100% set aside for Small Business Concerns. The NAICS code is 235990 with a $27.5 million size standard. The Magnitude of this project is $500,000 to $1,000,000. The solicitation will be available on or about January 28, 2001, with an estimated closing date of February 28, 2001.
