Description

The project shall include surface blading of the road traveled way and shoulders and incidental cleanup and drainage work. The Contractor shall provide all motor patrols, operators, laborers, fuel, transportation, and other supplies and equipment necessary to perform grading services. The normal maintenance period is April 2001 to June 2001 and September 2001 to November 15, 2001. The various roads to be bladed are located in the Mark Twain National Forest in Missouri. Acutal work location of services will be issued on delivery orders. This solicitation is for an indefinite quantity contract. The quantities of services specified in the Schedule of Items are estimates ONLY and are not purchased by this contract. This will be a performance based service contract. Award(s) will be based on written technical proposals and price factors with the best overall value to the Government, which reserves the right to make an award on the basis of initial offers received. ALL or NONE offers are acceptable. An award shall be made for each Item to the Offeror whose proposal is most advantageous to the Government.
