Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulations document (FAR) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. To view the supplements go to GSA, FTS, Technical Services Division (9TF), Las Vegas, NV at www.eps.gov. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation no. 9TER-01-JAL-003 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 97-19. The simplified acquisition procedures of FAR Part 13 are applicable to this procurement. This procurement is to provide the Infrastructure Systems Engineering Directorate of the Information Systems Engineering Command at Fort Huachuca, Arizona with the following layer 2 and layer 3 switch router equipment. Item no.1) BigIron 8000, 8-slot chassis with one RPS3 Power Supply included. (1 each) Item no. 2) 90-220VAC Power Supply, FastIron II/BigIron 4000/BigIron 8000 (2 each) Item no. 3) BigIron 8-port M3 Management Module (2 each) Item no. 4) MigIron/NetIron 400/800 24-port 10/100 Base TX (RJ45) Ethernet Module (3 each) Item no. 5) BigIron 4000, 4-slot chassis with one RPS3 Power Supply included (1 each) Item no. 6) FWS24 FastIron Workgroup 24-port plus 2-port Gigabit SX Uplink. Manual on CD-Rom, Rack Mount Kit (order additional RPS or RPSDC-FC for redundant power) (2 each) Item no. 7) 24-port SereIron XL, 400 MHz processor, 32 MB System DRAM, Internet IronWare, 24-port 10/100Base TX (RJ45), Console Cable, Rack Mount Kit (2 each) Item no. 8) 2-port Gigabit Ethernet 1000 Base SX(SC) for 50 or 62.5 MM Millimeter Fiber (2 each) Item no. 9) FWS24 FastIronWorkgroup 24-port plus 2-port Gigabit SX Uplink. The Government will award a contract resulting from this RFQ to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to this notice will be most advantageous, representing the best value to the government, price and other factors considered. A firm fixed price definite quantity, definite delivery contract will be awarded. All prices are to be quoted fob destination. The following Best Value factors shall be used in descending order of importance for evaluation of offers: (1) Price, (2) Warranty (3) Delivery _ ability to meet required delivery schedule. Delivery of these items is required within (10) ten business days after award. Please acknowledge all requirements. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, applies to this acquisition. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications _ Commercial Items, with its offer. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract terms and Conditions _ Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The clause at FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders _ Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The potential awardee shall be required to register in the IT Solutions Shop at it-solutions.gsa.gov for the post award process.
