Description

The VA Medical Center, Cooper Drive Division, Lexington, KY has a requirement for Valet Parking Services to respond to increases in parking demands from clinic relocations and growth in outpatient workload. This procurement is being issued in accordance with FAR Part 12, Commercial Items, using simplified acquisition procedures under the test program in FAR Subpart 13.5. A request for quotations will be issued on or about February 2, 2001. Contractor must have a minimum of three (3) years valet parking experience. Contractor will furnish all labor, supervision, equipment and supplies necessary to effect valet parking for the period beginning approximately April 1, 2001 through September 30, 2001 with two (2) renewal option years, subject to the availability of funding. Based on current operations, it is estimated that the contractor will be required to park approximately 500 -- 700 cars per day. Approximately 139 parking spaces are available on the lower deck for valet parking. Services to be provided Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. The contractor will be responsible for valet ticketing, securing keys, parking and delivering valet vehicles to and from the valet area, for the period specified in accordance with all terms, conditions, schedules, provisions and requirements of this solicitation.
