Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; A quotation is being requested and a written solicitation WILL NOT BE ISSUED. Solicitation DAWC29-01-T-0045 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This is a 100% small business set-aside, therefore bidding is RESTRICTED to Small Business Concerns. The applicable Standard Industrial classification (SIC) code is 2899 and the business size standard is 500. This announcement is for a Firm Fixed Price Contract. The following is required: The U S Army Corps of Engineers has a requirement for a contractor to provide spare parts for the Hopper Dredge Wheeler. These parts consist of: Piston Ring Set -- Part No. SD-94-KSV-9, MFG: Cooper Energy; Piston Assembly -- Part No. KSV-5-A#1, MFG: Cooper Energy; Power Liner -- Part No. KSV-9-3E#1, MFG: Cooper Energy. Quotations must be for BRAND NAME OR EQUAL, and must MEET OR EXCEED original manufacturer's specifications. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer will be most advantageous to the Government. Price and past performance being of equal value of importance. The Government may award a contract on the basis of initial offers received, without discussions.
