Note #22. This announcement is for information purposes only and will be made on a sole source basis. This award is a planned solicitation under the simplified acquisition process. The Food and Drug Administration [FDA], Office of Facilities, Acquisition, and Central Services [OFACS], intends to award a purchase order to Pitney Bowes, Annadale, VA., for maintenance and repair of 34 field 5lb model 5820 electronic postage scales; 34 meter rental model 6902 and 34 softguard. This procurement is in accordance with FAR subpart 13.5. The following also applies to this acquisition: 52-232.33 Mandatory Informatoin Electronic Funds Transfer Payment.
