THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE AND IS ISSUED FOR INFORMATION ONLY. PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS AT THIS TIME! A solicitation notice will be issued on or about 03/06/01 with all the necessary information for requesting the documentation, including the cost of the plans and specifications. The project consists of providing all plant, labor, materials equipment, supervision, and transportation necessary to construct a new B-1 Weapons Release and Load Crew Training Facility, approximately 21,500 square feet. THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE, BID PACKAGES WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE UNTIL ON OR ABOUT 21 MARCH 2001 AND PAYMENT FOR BID PACKAGES HAS BEEN RECEIVED. Bid opening will be on or about 24 April 2001 The magnitude of this construction project is between $1 million and $5 million. The solicitation will be advertised on an UNRESTRICTED basis inviting full and open competition from all interested parties. The Government will award a contract resulting from the solicitation to the responsible offeror whose proposal conforms to the solicitation and will be based on the "BEST VALUE" to the Government, past performance and price considered.
