Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The vendor shall provide all costs incurred for materials, transportation (i.e., roundtrip coach airfare), lodging, meals, and all other costs associated with providing services in accordance with the attached Statement of Work entitled WNBA Basketball Celebrity "Hardcourt Dreams" PACAF Tour 2001. The performance period is 7 days during April 2001 at the following locations: Hickam AFB, HI, Elmendorf AFB, AK, and Eielson AFB, AK. Provide a cost breakdown that includes players fees, management fees, contractor-supplied event director fee, per diem, roundtrip coach airfare, lodging, pricing for giveaways and commemorative autograph cards, etc. The following FAR/DFAR provisions are applicable to this solicitation: 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders-Commercial Items and 252.212-7001, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes of Executive Orders Applicable to Defense Acquisitions of Commercial Items.
